About Me

My name is Jorge and I love to play music. I have performed professionally for over 15 years. In addition to performance, I have also enjoyed teaching music. My teaching experiences include being a band director (3rd grade - 12th grade), as well as private music lessons for almost two decades! 

My enthusiasm for music, paired with my relational approach to lessons, offers students a unique and inspiring approach to making music of their own!

I am a CA native (born and raised in San Diego), have a Bachelor of Music in Composition, have directed choir and bands (concert and jazz), and consider piano, bass and drums my "main" instruments.
